Wednesday, June 24th and Sunday, June 28th

Hi all,

We will be having discipleship group at our house this Wednesday. Women meet from 5:30-7:00pm and the men meeting 7:30-9:00pm. 

This Sunday, June 28th we have booked space at Colossae again to gather and have church together. We have the 11am time slot again.

Looking ahead:

Next week we will not be gathering together. Matt and I will be out of town and I think several others will be gone too. We will begin meeting again on Wednesday, July 8th.

Wednesday, June 17th and Sunday, June 21st

Hey friends,

This Wednesday for discipleship group the men will meet from 5:30-7:00pm and the woman will meet from 7:30-9:00pm. We will be meeting at the Vorhees house. We will continue meeting for discipleship regularly through the summer along with community church gathering on Sundays.

Sunday, June 21st 

We will be meeting at Colossae for our COVID-19 church gathering. Our time slot is for the 11am service time. It is not determined yet what room we will gather in.

Community Gathering for Church beginning June 21st

Hello!

Matt and I are looking forward to gathering and having church together as a community. We plan to continue meeting for discipleship groups through the summer as well.

We will be having our first church service together on June 21st at the church. The time slot we have reserved is for 11am. We are not sure what part of the building we will be meeting in yet. More details to come.

Our gathering times and locations will fluctuate depending on availability and summer schedules. Logistically it works the easiest to try and schedule space to use at church, but that may not always be available so we have been throwing around ideas to have church in our backyard too. It will probably be a week to week schedule which Matt and I will update on the blog and through our texting groups.

Wednesday, March 18th

Hey everyone,

We will not be having community group this Wednesday. Just for everyone's safety and health, it is best that we keep our distance. I know this can be making people fearful and unsure, but know that even though we don't meet together in person, we still can talk over text and phone. So reach out with your prayer requests or if you just need someone to talk with.

Life is meant to be done in community, that community may just look a little different right now.

Hello Friends,

This week we'll be having community dinner at the Masters house and we'll be having burrito and salad bowls. We'll provide meat and rice, and we will also need salad, other toppings, and drinks.

Wednesday, February 19th

Hey all,

This week for community dinner we will be doing Mediterranean/Greek food. Matt and I will provide greek chicken. Look forward to seeing you at 6:00pm!

Looking ahead: Wednesday 2/26 - We will not be meeting in our normal discipleship groups. Colossae will be observing Ash Wednesday and will be having a service beginning at 6:30pm. The service will last between 30-45 minutes and will be a contemplative service to focus on prayer and to begin the Lenten Season. There will be student-led childcare provided.

Hello All,

This week for community dinner we will be be doing a Bacon theme! Anything and everything with bacon! Soup, breakfast, dessert, or you know just several pounds of bacon are awesome too. If ideas fail you then drinks are always welcome (no bacon necessary.) We will be making BBQ Chicken and Bacon skewers.

Hi All,

This Sunday we will be having a community breakfast together at the Leatherman's house at 9:30. Geoff and Stacy will have Egg casserole and the Master's will bring fried potatoes. We will need other breakfast foods as well, whatever you would like to bring.

Looking forward we will not be meeting on the 25th, but we will be meeting at Geoff and Stacy's on Sunday the 29th for a community breakfast to wrap up the year starting at 9:30.

This week is our Community Christmas Party!!! We will be doing red and green foods for dinner. Matt and I will make meatballs in marinara sauce. Have some fun and bring red or green food and drinks (anything goes!)

We will also do a white elephant gift exchange for the adults.
